Taíno folklore and culture in indie game development with Daryl Vincent

For our first video episode on our podcast for the Gaming week we chose Daryl Vincent, Creative Director & Game Developer at Fail Forward Games. He's an award-winning writer (IFT x Sony Creative Corridor) and actor (Bunker Buddies, Seekers of the Shard) turned game developer, obsessed with storytelling. He is now making his own indigenous fantasy Mermidd roleplaying game, Sea Beyond, which takes inspiration from Taíno folklore and culture.

In this episode, we discuss Daryl’s background, his experience going from being an actor and writer and moving towards being a game developer and a creative director, as well as covering his hopes and predictions for the future of gaming and his own projects.
