Our next guest on Amata World Podcast is Jörg Tittel is the founder and creative director of RapidEyeMovers, a London based entertainment production studio and publisher. He writes, produces and directs films, games, theatre, transmedia and branded projects. Prior to RapidEyeMovers, he wrote for video game mags Next Gen, Official Dreamcast (USA) and Famitsu (Japan) before joining Activision to help adapt Steven Spielberg's MINORITY REPORT into a video game. RapidEyeMover’s first game C-Smash VRS, the 2023 Digital Foundry VR Game of the Year, is coming to Meta Quest 2, 3 and Pro and Pico 4 headsets on 4th April. In addition to gaming Jörg is working in the film industry. His first feature film, The White King, a near-future drama starring Jonathan Pryce, Agyness Deyn and Fiona Shaw which he co-directed and -wrote with Alex Helfrecht, had its world premiere at the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature. This episode dives into Jörg's journey, his current projects, and insights in the gaming industry, plus his hopes and predictions for the gaming industry's future.
